Eventually these children grow up and return to their “home” country, but often feel isolated. Similarly, many students go abroad to attend a university, but find the transition to another culture overwhelming. Tina Quick is an adult TCK, cross-cultural trainer, writer and international speaker. She is on the board of directors of Families in Global Transition and is a member of the Overseas Association of College Admissions Counseling. She has three TCK daughters of her own.
